Have you ever attended a planning retreat? It is a great idea to attend one, if you have the opportunity. You are surrounded by like-minded men/women, all with ideas of what they want to do, but are feeling overwhelmed because you don’t know where to start or what you need to do first.
I attended a two-day women’s retreat. The retreat was called “She Believed 2017.” There were women of all ages and all with ideas they wanted to implement. The CEO and owner of “It’s My Time to Rise,” Sheya Chisenga, put this retreat on every year, during the first weekend of the year.
It is held at Suite Success, 1820 Tribute Rd., Ste. L., Sacramento, CA. The atmosphere of the office added to the excitement the women brought with them. We were all eager to get started. We believe this is going to be one of the best years to do busy and none us want to be left out.
Sheya told us first thing that we were there to work and work we did. Everyone participated. We each shared what we wanted to do and everyone were gracious and so helpful and so supportive of each other with workable suggestions.
We left after two days of planning and strategizing with plans of what we would do and how to go about it. We planned our promotions with dates on the calendar and our hearts filled with excitement because we had workable plans.
The best part is, we would be held accountable for what we planned and followed through on or we had better have an extremely good reason for following our plan of action. I for one am completely excited about this new year.
Follow me and you can help hold me accountable as well.
Until next time, take care. lw
