“Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.” By Maya Angelou
When I first read this quote, I thought it was something we should all be doing. This week has been a test for me. There are some personal issues going on in my family life. Maybe I will share those issues later.
The point is, I have been struggling with these issues. I had to put to the test some of what I have been suggesting to others that would help them in their trials and tribulations.
It has not been easy, but I believe my faith and prayers is what is getting me through. I have had to “be a rainbow in my cloud.” It makes a difference. It would be so easy to wallow in self-pity, complain, and blame others.
The truth is, I have no control over my husband’s health issues. We pray everything will turn out alright. The other problems are errors in judgement I made. However, with prayer and God’s blessings, things will turn out alright. After all, God has always been there for me in the past.
Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
This is one of the prayers that has always sustained me and still have faith in my Father.
So, I ask for your prayers for my husband, that his health improves and he feels better and that make I can turn my situation around.
Until next time, take care and God’s blessings on all of you for being the rainbow in someone’s cloud.
