Congratulations to Raven Blair Glover for having been nominated and will receive her award and recognition March 5, 2017 for the achievement of the work she has done.
Raven was nominated for this award by her friends and peers. It was a total surprise when she received the email informing her she would be a recipient of this award. This nomination took place and was signed before President Obama left office. I can only imagine how excited she must be.
Raven is better known as “Raven the Talk Show Maven.” She is an awesome woman and an inspiration to so many. I have sat with her and heard her personal story of how she got started in the talk show business and the motivation that moved her forward.
It is a moving and compelling story. When she found herself in the position of needing to make a change in her circumstances, she prayed and asked God for directions and the rest is history as they say.
Of course, there is more to the story than what I just wrote, but it is not my story to tell. You can find some of her shows on Youtube. I encourage you to go watch them. She is amazing and has had the opportunity to speak with some great people like Les Brown, Jack Canfield, Lisa Nichols, Alex Mandossian, and John Assaraf to name a few.
She is also responsible for several people starting their own talk show programs.
Congratulations, Raven. You more than earned this most prestige’s award. I am proud of you.
