All our dreams are possible if we are willing to put in the effort to achieve them. I am tackling the job of putting on my own talk show. And speaking every time the opportunity presents itself and I am a quiet person. I don’t speak much to carry on a conversation. But having my own radio show is something I have wanted to do for some time and I have decided, enough with wanting. Time for action.
I am a motivational speaker and have been for several years, but now I speak as a business professional, not a hobby. It is challenging and there are times when I wonder why I continue at my age. Then I speak on the radio or stand before an audience to speak. I see the connection I make, or someone says “Thank you! You let me know I’m not alone and offered suggestions on moving forward. Thank you so much.”
I can’t begin to express what it feels like to know you may have made a difference in someone’s life. The fear of letting others in on your personal troubles really scares me, because I have always been a private person in the past. I know now, I am meant to share my woes in order to help others.
I don’t mind letting you know, I have my share of fears and doubts, but I refuse to let these two enemies of mine control what I do. So, besides the radio show and the motivational speaking, I written and published my first solo book, “Courage to Live My Dream.”
